Good day! We are preparing to launch a board game with miniatures and are looking for an illustrator for hand-painting the characters on the finished art. Currently, the characters are presented as gray 3D renders. The task is to paint them according to pre-approved color schemes. For each character, we will provide photographs of a physically painted miniature that will serve as references. It is important for us that the characters are detailed and organically blend with the entire illustration. The final result should look as if the characters were painted by an artist from scratch. If necessary, it will also be required to partially refine the illustration itself — primarily the background, lighting, and individual surrounding elements. This is needed to eliminate any potential visual contrast between the digital background and the hand-painted characters and to make the entire composition stylistically cohesive. We are not interested in works created using generative artificial intelligence. We are specifically looking for an artist for manual work, so please take this into account before applying. Attached to the announcement are:- the art that needs to be refined; - an example photograph with the color scheme of one of the characters. Before starting the main stage, we offer to complete a small paid test task.
