The service literally does not provide data for the key 'gender' in product details. (unfortunately, I can't add a screenshot here)
It is possible that there are other changes; the script just hasn't reached them yet because it fails on getting gender.
You can try to set some default value like n/a for debugging to assess the scale of changes and then make decisions based on the situation.

I reviewed the code and the website. It seems that the gender field is missing in the script elements that the script parses. Perhaps the website has been updated and this field is no longer present. На сайті зараз немає того поля 'gender'.
Можливо вони перероблюють сайт, тому його зараз і не видно. А може і взагалі не буде.
Як давно його не стало? Якщо тільки сьогодні, то почекайте день-два, можливо, все буде працювати як і раніше.
А з приводу покращення коду, то його треба було б повністю переписати(зробити рефакторінг і декомпозицію), але якщо у Вас він працював добре, то це робити не обов'язково.
