Parsing architectural photographs
Task:
Collect photographs from two websites - ArchDaily (archdaily.com) and Architectural Digest (architecturaldigest.com)
Upload the photos in the highest available quality.
Organize the photographs into separate folders: Exterior, Interior, Exterior Top View
Avoid duplicates if possible. Deliver the results via Google Drive or in a compressed format.

Good day. I can do it, I would like to receive more detailed specifications.
-
I can complete it within 1 day, the photos will be in the highest available quality, and if needed, I can also process them, for example, convert them to the required format. The only question is how to sort them into folders? On ArchDaily, I see separate filters for Exterior and Interior, but I don't see Exterior Top View - is this something that needs to be done manually after parsing? Or did I just miss the necessary section?

315 Hello, I am ready to collect architectural photographs from ArchDaily and Architectural Digest. I plan to create a Python script to gather and upload images in the highest available quality, organize the photos into folders Exterior / Interior / Exterior Top View, and remove duplicates by URL and file hash.
Before starting, I would like to clarify:
- What is the approximate volume of photos needed;
- Should I collect from the entire site or from specific sections/links;
- Is semi-automatic verification acceptable for the Exterior Top View category, as it is always clearly highlighted on the sites.
I will deliver the result as an archive or via Google Drive.

3861 15 0 Good day.
I have extensive experience in downloading photos from websites and building mirrors.
At first glance, the task seems simple: take two websites and download the photos.
However, ArchDaily is a database of projects, with over 30,000+, not including articles and news.
Architectural Digest is a magazine, so there aren't any projects per se, but there are article-galleries, for example (tours of homes as an example).
Why is it not as easy as it seems?
1. Downloading and compiling - yes, that's simple. Downloading 1 million photos is under a terabyte of data, and the site will most likely block after a few hours if this is not organized in a pipeline.
2. Organizing into folders - this means, assuming everything is downloaded, reviewing each photo and understanding what it depicts.
So the question is:
… Do we really need to download everything?
Or should we apply some filters, by date, number of projects/articles?
This greatly affects the final cost; if it's targeted, it's significantly cheaper, but if everything is classified, it will be much more expensive.

5084 37 2 Good day! The task is clear. I will perform automatic parsing of photographs from both websites in the highest available quality, organize them into folders Exterior / Interior / Exterior Top View, and filter out duplicates. I will deliver the results via Google Drive. I am ready to discuss the details and timelines.

1890 52 0 Good day. I can collect all the photos from these websites. The only problem will be how to distinguish them into separate folders. It will be necessary to write a neural network to differentiate them. On the second site, it is unknown where exactly to take the images from - it can be from the entire site through the sitemap - but it is unknown how many there are.

3202 32 0 Hello! On my side, I will implement a fast and stable asynchronous parser in Python. I will upload photos in maximum resolution, set up a deduplication mechanism (based on file hashes) to avoid duplicates, and organize automatic uploading of a structured archive to Google Drive.
Regarding sorting by folders (Exterior/Interior/Top View): if the sites do not have exact tags, I will connect a lightweight image classification model to automate this process. Let's discuss the details in private messages!

321 Hello. I can collect architectural photos from ArchDaily and Architectural Digest, download them in the highest available quality, organize them into folders Exterior / Interior / Exterior Top View, and remove duplicates by URL and file hash.
Work plan:
1. Clarify the required volume: number of photos, categories, or a list of pages/links.
2. Write a Python script to collect links and download images.
3. Save photos in separate folders by categories.
4. Check for duplicates.
5. Deliver the result as an archive or via Google Drive.
…
Important clarification: for Exterior Top View, manual or semi-automatic verification may be needed, as this category is not always a separate filter on the site.
Estimated: 4000 UAH, 4 days. I will confirm the exact estimate after clarifying the number of photos and sorting rules.
