There are libraries that work with simple PSD files, but I haven't interacted with them - we can try them out first
It would be easier to understand if we know the purpose of the script (what it is intended to be used for).
As I understand it, the planned usage is: a folder with images of different sizes is given, a separate file with text overlay settings, and a php script overlays text on each image either depending on the size of the image (%) or not (just the size of the text in pixels)
