Hello. I had to do a training project for the renovation of the facades of old buildings:
1. During the training, I completed a "project," that is, drawings for the renovation of the facades of the building https://maps.app.goo.gl/egZByuwwrESH7Lt48 on Kulparkivska Street in Lviv. And the facades of the "Georges" hotel with figures from this angle https://maps.app.goo.gl/WvJ9M69zgKJue3M9A; this hotel was called "Intourist" during the times of the union of republics because it mainly accommodated foreign guests from the vast and boundless. A notable feature of the facade is the figures of attractive women, named after continents – Europe, America, Africa, Asia. The completion of the hotel's reconstruction in its current form dates back to 1901. Previously, there was another hotel on the site called "Under Three Hooks," which was rebuilt, and in fact, completely dismantled, and re-emerged in its current form. Unfortunately, photos of both works have not been preserved; the drawings were done by hand in watercolor and graphic techniques.
2. Also, speaking of old buildings, there was a renovation project for a cult building of the Eastern Christian rite and a project for the new construction of a bell tower in two villages in the Lviv region. I can provide screenshots of the drawings and photos of the completed construction works on this point in a message; fortunately, they have been preserved.
The style of the building on Kulparkivska Street and the hotel is described as closely as possible. Regarding the reconstruction solution with a redesign – this requires discussion to ensure the result meets your wishes and simultaneously does not violate the building's stylistics and does not spoil the house but changes it for the better. I have been engaged in architectural design for over 14 years, I am a certified architect and also hold an architect's certificate. I indicated an approximate cost and minimum execution time for one variant of the facade renovation drawings with minor changes during the work – approximately 7,500 zlotys and no less than 40 days, finalized after discussion. Minor changes refer to when it is necessary to change the color of the facade painting or locally change the facade finishing within 10 percent of the total facade area without complete or partial reworking, which, in my opinion, requires more than 4 hours of time. Regarding solutions for reconstruction with redesign inside the house – this requires more detailed discussion and clarification of your wishes and expectations from the result.
