Task:
It is necessary to design a mechanism (reducer) that converts rotational motion into translational motion.
- Range of translational motion: 12 cm.
- Time for full displacement: 1 second.
- Load: 100 kg (lifting and lowering).
- Important: Backlash-free transmission. Potentiometer. Input shaft of the motor according to the load.
- Required: drawings of all parts, assembly of the mechanism, 3D model. Preparation for 3D printing of a prototype model.
- Conduct performance analysis (strength, wear resistance, efficiency).
- Specialty: design engineer, mechanical engineer, mechatronics engineer.
- Skills -
- Designing mechanisms with gear, screw, and crank-slider transmissions.
- Load analysis, strength, kinematics of motion.
- Programs:
- 3D modeling: SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA or similar.
- Engineering analysis: ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, KISSsoft (for gear transmissions).
