11 USD In the application, there are sales data for 2 years in one Excel file. Sales are divided into three tables, separately for the actual data for 2023 and 2024, as well as product data (name and price).
Task:
- Load all tables into Power BI using Power Query.
- Combine them into one table:
- Merge the actual data for 2023 and 2024.
- Attach the product name and its price to them.
- Load this single table into the Power BI data model (unnecessary tables can be deleted or set not to load).
- Add a calendar table to the model and create a relationship between these two tables.
- Build a chart with sales in monetary units for the entire period (you can create the total sales in monetary units either in Power Query or as a calculated column in the data model, or calculate it using a measure in DAX, whichever you prefer).
- Add a slicer (filter) to the chart with the option to select the product name.
