Problem with PHP and WordPress version

The site uses WordPress with a customized theme. The plugin and theme claim support for PHP 8.2, however, the site only works reliably on PHP version 7.4.33 — updating to a newer version causes errors.
Improvements were implemented through a child theme, as well as partially by manually editing the plugin code that was supplied with the theme. The problem is likely related to these changes.
Required:
Investigate the cause of the site's incompatibility with PHP 8.2.
Identify the problematic areas (in the child theme or in the plugin).
Fix the errors so that the site works correctly on PHP 8.2.
