Design requirements
Overall shape
The geometry of the last must correspond to the provided DXF file and sketches.
It is necessary to consider radii and rounding for convenient assembly and turning out of the product.
Dismountable structure
The last must consist of 3 separate parts.
After assembly, all parts should form a single rigid structure.
The design must ensure easy extraction of the last from the finished bag after assembly.
Fixing system
In the upper part of the last, a mechanism for fixing all three parts together must be provided (as in the photo example of wooden lasts)
The fixing must securely hold the parts in the assembled position.
It is preferable to use a mount for standard metal fasteners (bolts, screws, threaded inserts, etc.).
The performer may propose an optimal technical solution for fixing.
Requirements for 3D printing
The model must be suitable for printing on an FDM 3D printer.
It is necessary to consider the strength of the structure and ease of printing.
The wall thickness and structural elements should be selected in such a way that the last withstands the forces during the assembly of leather products.
