Design of the pumping station in accordance with ISO standards.
According to the technical assignment, it is necessary to design a pumping station.
The assignment package includes 2 folders: an example of the implementation of a similar project and all the necessary information for designing a new pumping station.
Example of the design of assembly and detail drawings according to ISO standards.
Folder “Example”
3D model of a similar pumping station project
PID (functional hydraulic diagram);
List of components of the hydraulic diagram;
Example of the design of general view drawings + specification
Example of the design of drawings of the welded frame and pipelines + specification.
Example of the design of drawings according to ISO standards.
Folder “New Design”
The package of incoming documentation for the project includes:
PID (functional hydraulic diagram);
List of components of the hydraulic diagram;
Technical information on the components of the pumping station from catalogs;
Sketch of the conceptual design of the new pumping station in .ifc format. You may be able to propose a better concept for the placement of equipment.
General information:
1.1 Purpose of the pumping station: Used for transferring energy from the primary to the secondary cooling system.
1.2 Type of medium: Water
1.3 Location of the facility: Equipment is located inside production premises with high humidity and low air pollution.
1.4 Operating conditions: Service life ISO 12944 - from 5 to 15 years.
Project requirements:
Software for 3D modeling and creating 2D drawings - SolidWorks 2025.
All technical documentation and drawings must be developed in accordance with ISO standards.
Assembly models and drawings must contain the necessary standard elements (pipes, screws, nuts, washers, sealing rings, gaskets, coatings, etc.) that must comply with ISO standards.
All pipelines must comply with the EN 1.4307/AiSI 303L standard according to the attached hydraulic diagram.
The frame of the pumping station must include anti-corrosion protection for steel structures in accordance with ISO standards. The corrosion resistance of the metal structures of the pumping station must meet class C3 according to DS/EN ISO 12944.
The pumping station must be designed as a single block for ease of maintenance and transportation.
3D models of purchased standard products must be downloaded from the manufacturer's website independently. If the necessary 3D model for the purchased product is not available, a model must be created based on the attached technical information from the catalog for project visualization.
The pumping station must be equipped with the necessary vibration dampers according to the list, see additional files.
The design of the pumping station must provide space for a control panel with an automation and control system for the entire system. Information from the catalog regarding the box for placing the automation is attached.
For all non-standard parts, a 3D model + 2D drawing must be provided.
The package of outgoing documentation includes:
Set of files for 3D assemblies and subassemblies of the pumping station
Set of assembly 2D drawings of the pumping station
3D models of all parts for manufacturing
Set of 2D drawings with necessary dimensions for manufacturing.
Material specification (BOM) for all units and subunits.
