Development of a 3D bas-relief (STL or OBJ) for CNC milling
- Base: A relief souvenir gingerbread based on the attached image (the coat of arms of the city of Lipovets).
- Dimensions of the finished gingerbread: Diameter 13 cm.
- Dimensions of the blank/mold: Diameter 15 cm (consider technological fields/offsets at the edges).
- Maximum depth of relief (cutouts): 1.8 cm (18 mm) at the deepest points.
- Correct slopes (undercuts): All vertical walls of the elements must have a technological slope (angle of convergence) of at least 10–15 degrees. The model should not have reverse angles or strictly vertical cuts; otherwise, the dough will stick and tear when removed from the mold.
- Depth and thickness of lines: The minimum thickness of protruding elements on the gingerbread (indentations in the mold) should be adapted to the capabilities of the dough — no less than 1.5–2 mm. Too thin and deep grooves should not be made, as they will clog with dough.
- Corner rounding: All internal corners of the mold (joints of the bottom and walls of the elements) should have small radii for easy cleaning of the mold and proper baking of the dough.
The original image is generated and overly detailed. Reasonable optimization is required:
- Background and environment (CAN BE SIMPLIFIED): The tractor, combine, mill, field texture, sunflower seeds, and corn grains need to be simplified, enlarged, or translated into a flatter, symbolic bas-relief. Remove fine graphics, leaving only general recognizable silhouettes.
- Critically important elements (MUST BE PRESERVED):
- Central coat of arms: Must be clear and recognizable, and it can be slightly simplified, but carefully. The figure of the bull in the center and the figure of the angel in the upper left shield must be readable on the finished dough.
- Text: The inscription "Lipovets" at the top must be done in a large, readable font with sufficient depth so that the letters do not "blur" during baking.
