Also, the application itself will be smaller, although it all depends on what specific documents you will be scanning, from this depends the choice of OCR. I can develop the application itself in Kotlin, if you agree to your own server then FastAPI/Postgres. If this is data for your company, we can create a minimal admin panel on the server for easy viewing of these documents (not photos, but if needed we can save them too), and a basic user manager.
