iOS application for AI video generation from text, with the possible addition of photos, authentication, and subscription model
1. Overall Architecture
iOS application built with SwiftUI, using Firebase as backend. Users can initiate video generation via an external AI API, receive results, and view history. Access to features is regulated through a subscription (RevenueCat). Authentication is implemented seamlessly, without manual login, by storing the user identifier in Keychain.
2. Backend
2.1. Platform
Firebase (BaaS):
Firebase Auth — used for generating and storing the unique user uid.
Firestore — as the main storage for structured data.
Firebase Storage — for storing generated video files.
Cloud Functions — for interacting with external AI services.
2.2. Authentication
Without using email, passwords, or manual login.
On first app launch, a new user is created via Firebase Auth (anonymous or silent-auth).
uid is saved in Keychain and used for subsequent sessions.
The user remains authorized after reinstalling the app.
2.3. Integration with External APIs
An external AI service (PIAPI) is used for video generation.
Interaction is asynchronous.
All requests to the AI service are made through Cloud Functions.
2.4. Integration with RevenueCat
RevenueCat manages:
Subscription and trial management.
Tracking status (active, canceled, expired).
Synchronization with the App Store.
Client SDK is used.
If necessary, data is synchronized with backend via Webhook or direct calls.
