    причина ошибки в том, что на листе "1" в первом столбце значения сохранены как числа (или наоборот), а на листе "2" - как текст (или наоборот). нужно сначала привести в единый формат, иначе для экселя они разные

    Спасибо за ответ. Возможно я не совсем понял, что значит "значения сохранены". На обоих листах ячейки, по которым идет поиск отформатированы как текст. Если отформатировать как числа, то все работает, но тогда пропадают нули в начале чисел (в примере таких чисел возможно нет, но в общей базе их много).
