Role Overview & Creative Fit We are seeking a talented Video Editor who doesn't just cut clips together but treats their editing like an art. An individual with an exceptional eye for detail and an intuitive understanding of pacing, structure, viewer retention and rhythmic flow. Well-versed in the mechanics of premium documentary editing and high-retention YouTube storytelling, or close to it. We are looking for something like this:https://www.youtube.com/@a.c.e.v.x Key Responsibilities - Sports Documentary Editing: Source and weave archival tennis match footage, interview clips, press conferences, and historical sports photography, cohesively. Videos are around 8 to 20 minutes long. - Retention Optimisation: Apply advanced retention mechanics (pattern interruptions, visual resets) to maximise watch time. - Rhythmic Pacing & Sound Design: Synchronise editing pacing flawlessly to the provided voiceover. Layer immersive sound designs including racquet cracks, crowd dynamics, camera shutters, and shifting thematic background tracks. We provide sound assets. - Understanding Fair Use Law: You know how to transform content to help tell the story and the guidelines to follow when producing it. - Output Consistency: 1 video per week. You have dedicated time each week to these tasks. - Weekly Meeting Check-ins: To discuss how you're handling everything and managing tasks. We are looking to pay on a consistent weekly or fortnightly basis; however, some videos are 8 minutes, whilst others are 20 minutes. Looking for an editor with experience and a portfolio to edit a reportage video of 7-12 minutes. I need someone who can create a stylish, fast edit with color correction and stabilization, but without additional effects. Experience in FCPX or DaVinci Resolve would be a plus. Good day! We need to create a wedding video slideshow (approximately 5–6 minutes long). What we have: a ready text, divided into two roles (words of mom and aunt). Samples of our real voices for AI cloning (to voice the text in our voices with good intonation). About 60 photos, neatly organized into folders by life stages (childhood, relatives.... A short video (corn) that needs to be harmoniously integrated into the storyline. What is needed from the performer: To create AI voiceover of the text based on our samples, select nice background music, edit all photos from the folders, the video, and assemble the finished film "turnkey".
