SalesForce Developer for Silicon Valley Product Company

We are international luxury air travel company focusing on providing high-end personal service to our clients. Our head office is in San Francisco, California and we have a new office in Kyiv since 2014, which is rapidly expanding. We are a team of young professionals who very ambitious, continually developing and have an open mindset.

We are switching to Salesforce platform and need you to build an application from scratch. 

You will be working on the creation and constant optimization of our Salesforce applications to enable our company to accomplish its vision and goals. You will work together with founders and interact with all company departments such as marketing, sales, order processing and beyond.

What you will do

• Work with founders and company departments to learn business processes and offer your solutions

• Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment and support

• Develop  quality and scalable applications with Visualforce and Apex

• Integrate salesforce.com with other systems

• Create and Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, flow triggers and email alerts.

• Mentor junior members of the development team

• Participate in other development projects

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in a computer discipline, or equivalent applicable experience; 

• 3-5 years of expertise and strong knowledge in Salesforce Platform, Apex programming language, and Visualforce;

• Knowledge of Force.com development best practices and design patterns;

• Experience with integrating with 3rd-party APIs on the Salesforce platform; 

• Experience developing interactive web-based applications; 

• Ability to write in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and popular Web UI frameworks within Visualforce pages or Lightning components.

• Familiar with Salesforce Administration: configuration, standard data model, security, and automations such as validation rules, workflows, and process flows.

• Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies

• Strong business acumen to understand business requirements quickly and design with security and scalability in mind.

• Ability to work independently and engage manager as needed

• Strong Project Management abilities

• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skill

• Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from an operational and technical perspective

• Salesforce.com Developer certification is strongly preferred

• English (Intermediate), able to read technical documentation
