Create a script for Google Docs (Google Apps Script)
Issue
When navigating through links within a Google document (link from text to a heading within the same document), there is no way to return to the original location in the document - only scroll and manually search for it.

Task
An integrated script is needed in the document with the following functionality:
- On the left side of the text at the top of the page, display a menu:
- Buttons function as standard browser buttons, but at the document level:
When the "back" button is clicked, the document scrolls to the position in the document from which the user followed an internal link. On subsequent clicks, it scrolls to the previous position and so on.
When the "forward" button is clicked, it scrolls to the next positions if the user had previously clicked the "back" button. - If the beginning or end of the chain is reached and there is nowhere to go, deactivate the corresponding buttons.
- The "Home" button scrolls the document to the beginning.
Additional Requirements
- The script should work in a shared document for users without the right to make changes (rights "Reader").
- The script should work in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
