Role Overview:
As a Senior Vue.js API Developer, you will be responsible for the development and integration of APIs within our Vue.js-based digital signage platform. You will work closely with the product, design, and development teams to ensure smooth functionality and scalability. The successful candidate should have strong experience with Vue.js and be capable of integrating 25+ APIs within five to six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Vue.js components for the front end of our SaaS platform.
- Integrate over 25 third-party APIs with our system over the next six months.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data flow.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design and implement new features.
- Create scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Work on functionality to manage thousands of screens from our CRM.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the support team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Vue.js and Laravel (or similar back-end framework).
- Strong experience in integrating and working with APIs.
- Ability to manage multiple API integrations efficiently and securely.
- Experience with face recognition technology is a plus.
- Familiarity with Canvas and data visualization for creating intuitive dashboards.
- Experience working with physical hardware (such as screens) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Unit Testing and ability to write tests to ensure code quality.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a remote environment and coordinate across multiple time zones.
- Agile development methodology experience is preferred.
