Shopify: development of a size and material configurator with dynamic pricing on the product page
Looking for a Shopify developer to create a custom configurator on the product page (online store for photo wallpapers and posters).
We have a sample site that we are basing the functionality on.
It is necessary to implement a similar configurator adapted to our brand and calculation logic. I will provide the link to the sample site in private messages.
It is necessary to implement a block within the product page with the following functionality:
The client enters the width and height (cm)
The system automatically:
calculates the area (m²)
recalculates the price depending on the selected material
The client selects the material (several options with different prices)
The price is dynamically updated without reloading the page
A preview of the image in the selected sizes is displayed
The product is added to the cart with the calculated parameters
The client can place an order with the selected parameters, pay online in the standard way through Shopify checkout — and the order is correctly transmitted with all selected data (size, material, price).
Technical requirements:
• integration into the current Shopify theme
• work through Liquid + JavaScript
• correct data transmission (size, material, final price) in the order
• responsiveness (mobile version is mandatory)
• ability to edit the price per m² in the future
• neat modern UI
• the solution must be scalable (possibility for future improvements)
Important: the solution must be stable and not conflict with Shopify theme updates.
