We are looking for a translator/editor to join our team who has a great understanding of the English language, can translate from Ukrainian to English, and adapt jokes for an English-speaking audience while maintaining the core essence. It would be a plus if you are familiar with English memes and have a sense of humor.
Main tasks:
Adapt the script from Ukrainian to English for the narrator
Find original clips from movies/series for the editor (a list of materials will be provided)
Occasionally watch the film in the original language for better understanding of the context
It would be a plus: if you enjoy movies, as the content will be about this
The workload is approximately 1 hour of video per month, which is about (10,000 words)
If everything goes well and the team works together, there may be more.
This is a long-term job opportunity; if this project goes well, it will last at least 2-3 years.
