The solution consists of a number of key features that need to work together.
Data Ingestion:
The system needs to ingest live video feeds from a number of cameras located in the retail location. The video feeds needs to be available for real time analysis either at the edge or in the cloud.
Object Detection/Image Recognition
The system needs to be able to detect and track people in the video feed.
It needs to be able to detect if there are multiple people in the video feed.
It needs to be able to track their location in the video
It needs to detect faces
If the face is visible it needs to be able to predict
Gender
Age
Outputs:
Is there a person/multiple people in the video: yes/no
Image recognition results for the person/people:
Gender
Age
Location tracking:
Where are they located?
Are they moving?
Which direction are they moving in?
Object Tracking Hardware
Aim the speaker at the person in the video
Rotate to follow the person in the video
