Need a video editor for a YouTube blog (long-term)
I have a new channel, the blog is just starting. I am looking for a person for ongoing collaboration.
Plan: 1-3 videos per week, final duration of each video — 5-10 minutes.
What we provide
• Raw materials via Google Drive or any convenient file-sharing service.
• The volume of raw material varies: sometimes 30-40 minutes, sometimes 1.5-2 hours.
What needs to be done (clearly and without extra)
• Just cutting. No color correction, no music, no titles/animations.
• Assemble the video so that it reads easily: neat cuts, smooth transitions, remove obvious pauses, repetitions, "uh", "um", slips of the tongue, unnecessary fragments.
• Fit the material into 5–10 minutes (± by content).
• Export in the same format, FPS, and quality as the original files (without loss of quality).
• Return the finished clean edit (I will do the voiceover/music later myself).
Collaboration format
• The project is at the start, so I do not promise "golden mountains" 🙂
• I am looking for a golden mean in price/quality, so that we can realistically work together for a long time, rather than giving up due to expensive editing.
• Ready for a stable schedule (1–3 videos/week) and clear deadlines.
From you
• Experience in basic cutting in any NLE (Premiere Pro / DaVinci / Final Cut, etc.).
• Attention to rhythm, logic, and "cleanliness" of the material.
• Reliability and reasonable deadlines (preferably 24–48 hours for a 5–10 minute video with available raw material).
How to apply
Please include in your response:
1. 2–3 links to similar works (where neat cutting is visible).
2. Rate for a finished 5–10 minute video with 30–120 minutes of raw material.
3. Your usual deadline under these conditions.
4. What software you edit with and how you prefer to exchange files.
I look forward to your proposals! I want to find a reliable partner for calm, long-term collaboration without overpayments and unnecessary demands.
