1. General information
It is necessary to develop a system for automatic control of YouTube streams with the ability to restart them upon reaching certain conditions. Management should be carried out through Selenium without using the YouTube API. For convenience, an admin panel is required.
2. Main tasks of the system
✅ Monitoring streams on multiple YouTube channels
✅ Checking viewer activity and stream duration
✅ Automatic completion and creation of a new stream when conditions are met:
- The stream lasts more than 24 hours
- The number of viewers is less than 3 people
✅ Using Selenium to work with YouTube Studio
✅ Ability to manage multiple channels through one Google account (channel manager)
✅ Sequential processing of streams every 30 minutes
3. Technical requirements
- Selenium logs into YouTube Studio through the manager's account (without the need to log in to each channel).
- Gets a list of all active streams by titles.
- Checks for each stream:
- Duration (more than 24 hours?)
- Number of viewers (less than 3?)
- If both conditions are met:
- Ends the stream
- Creates a copy of it with the same parameters (title, description, etc.)
- Repeats the process every 30 minutes
4. Additional
- Auto-refresh of data in the admin panel (every 15 minutes)
- Flexibility (new channels can be added manually)
- Minimal load on the server
- Streams are already running on external servers and operate continuously (It is necessary to write the script for auto-restart with a minimalist admin panel with only the main characteristics of the streams)
