🔍 Goal:

From the videos of my educational lectures, a structured knowledge base needs to be created, and then an assistant that can be asked questions and provide links to the corresponding video segments with timestamps.

📦 What is available:

Lecture videos with a total duration of ~500 hours (exact volume to be confirmed).

Topics: osteopathy, massage, physiotherapy, kinesiology, etc.

Format: Google Drive (examples at the very bottom).

Languages of the videos: mainly Russian, with some lectures in English, Ukrainian, French, Estonian (text is always clear).

🧩 What needs to be done:

Stage 1: Transcription of videos

Obtain the text of all lectures with timestamps.

Export in .srt or .vtt format.

File names: Topic_date.srt

(Optional) not mandatory - Speaker identification if multiple people are speaking in the lecture.

Stage 2: Creation of a knowledge base

Combine all subtitles into a single database (format - to be discussed: JSON, markdown, txt, SQL, etc.).

For each segment -:

Video title

Time range

Text

It is desirable to add thematic tags (by keywords: "gallbladder", "headache", "working with the neck", etc.).

Stage 3: Intelligent assistant

Implement a simple interface (CLI, web, bot - to be discussed), where a question can be entered:

The assistant should return a list of answers with:

Lecture title

Approximate topic

Time range (e.g., from 10:32 to 18:45)

Snippet of text

🛠 Technologies / Approach (preferences):

For transcription: Whisper, Subtitle Edit, or others with good accuracy.

For the assistant: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Weaviate, Haystack or similar.

Possible use of GPT for vector search.

Stack according to the contractor's proposal.

Experience in transcription and working with subtitles.

Experience in NLP / embedding search / knowledge bases.

Understanding how to build a QA assistant based on a large array of texts.

Ability to suggest optimal tools for the task.

Могу транскрибировать все видео, с выводом в нужный формат. Латышский, литовский , эстонский в том числе.

Но сможет надо сделать и это -

я так понимаю что перевод сделать бы надо и переозвучить нужным языком, чтобы в дальнейшем не мучатся с переводом.

А лишь потом уже остальное делать....
