I can't understand if this is done the way I would do it - collecting from quality cliparts (raster, not ready-made ones, but finding them, such quality + interesting stuff is not just lying around on freepik) then assembling the scene, then special effects, lighting, smoke, fire, etc... the main thing is that everything should be high quality with fine detail...
Or is it just a team working with a 3D artist who renders the models and then the designer assembles them... then of course there are more opportunities, hands are untied - but budgets with extra zeros...
As for how I do it - of course, I will have to work with what I found that is good, but it will be much cheaper with not much difference in quality, which will grow over time + a bank of effects, textures, items, etc. will be collected, and all this will be done faster and easier while the quality will actually improve...
