Let me introduce myself, my name is Anatoly, I am an IT recruiter and ~Junior Product Manager.
📌 Context:
I have developed 80-90% of an MVP text templating expander (AI-based) on desktop via Electron.
There is an almost complete version for Windows, integrated with Stripe, Supabase, an admin panel, and a separate website. Everything has been tested by me twice.
📌 About the project:
This is an application for managing text templates with quick access via global hotkeys. The main use case: automation of inputting repetitive text and file data in any Windows/MacOS applications.
Target audience - recruiters.
📌 What needs to be done:
1. Basic code review for critical vulnerabilities and errors on the client side.
2. All user content is stored in LocalStorage, I tried to implement Electron Store, but it didn't work through AI. As I understand, LocalStorage is not the best place for data storage, a more reliable solution needs to be implemented so that each account has its own current content (categories/folders/templates/hotkeys), that is, in AppData for Windows, Library for MacOS.
3. Data protection in storage needs to be implemented, meaning that the program's content cannot be extracted and uploaded to a new trial account. At the UI level, I have already implemented this, it also needs to be checked that this lock works reliably.
📌 Acceptance criteria:
1. There are no errors on the client that could cause critical bugs disrupting the main logic of the templater;
2. There are no serious security vulnerabilities on the client;
3. The new storage works on Win/Mac, tied to each user by ID and is not accessible for manual editing by an ordinary user.
4. The implemented import and export lock in the UI has been checked and works safely.
📌 What I expect from you:
- Experience in web development of at least 3 years (Middle / Senior);
- Experience with Electron, TypeScript, and basic understanding of security in Electron;
- Availability of a Mac PC, experience working with the Apple ecosystem;
- Positive reviews, at least 5+ from different users;
- Willingness to sign an Independent Contractor Agreement + NDA;

Middle: ~22.5–34 hours
Senior: ~12.5–19.5 hours
📥 The goal is to create a more secure and unmodifiable data storage for ordinary users and to conduct a code review of the client.
