а як Ви уявляєте передачу такої деталізації геометрії за допомогою 2000 точок?

не точок, а полігонів (тобто точок мінімум в 3 рази більше).
за допомогою карти нормалей. але буде дуже лоупольна 🙂

Ви на геометрію уважно подивіться, далеко не все там можна текстурами створити

дивився. в 2000 фейсів можна вміститися.
питання тільки який фіз.розмір моделі (це повітряна куля, чи лампа), бо тоді розміри текстур можуть нівелювати всю задумку заощадження на полігонах

ну як вміститесь - покажіть, буде дуже цікаво

-в якому стилі потрібно виконати? Стилізований/лоу полі/ реалістичний (якщо останній то це точно не 1000-2000 полігонів)
-розміри текстур (інформація чи буде використовуватись Mip Mapping в ігровому рушії) чи будуль LODи для камер
-чи має модель бути анімованою? Якщо так то які частини, як саме?
-в якому форматі потрібно надати кінцевий результат? Можливо вам потрібен просто рендер на прозорому фоні?
Виконавці ж не підробляють гаданням на кришталевій кулі (я точно ні)
