у вас наверное база работает в файловом режиме и из-за фото слишком большой файл базы данных. нужно перевести ее в клиент-серверный режим и проблема с фото вас больше беспокоить не будет

на самом деле если много фоток их можно и нужно хранить во внешних тома данных , те же бас конфигурации так давно уже умеют.

это то что я вам написал выше. переведите базу в клиент-серверный режим(работа через 1с сервер и SQL) и у вас не будет ограничения на размер базы данных.
ваша конфигурация УТ 2.3 не поддерживает хранение фоток на диске вне базы. это только колхозить свой какой-то механизм нужно. не советую с этим заморачиваться. нормально работающих решений я не встречал

тогда в целом понятно почему превышен размер одного файла, старые ут утп все хранят в одной куче , не отдельно друг от друга. сжатие немного отложит или же переход на клиент серверную архитектуру или сделайте доработку чтобы хранить файлы во внешнем каталоге.
