Order processing system testing
B2B platform for wholesale trading of automotive parts, connecting warehouses and suppliers with customers worldwide. We are looking for a tester for detailed testing of the order processing process – from the moment of receipt to shipment and closure, taking into account the specifics of the wholesale business.
🔹 What needs to be tested:
✅ Customer order placement (adding products to the cart, checking the minimum order amount, selecting payment and delivery terms).
✅ Order processing by managers (automatic and manual checks, confirming product availability, updating status).
✅ Coordination of financial operations (invoicing, payment verification, integration with payment systems).
✅ Interaction with suppliers (confirming the order at the warehouse, updating product statuses – "in stock", "reserved", "shipped").
✅ Logistics and shipping (delivery control, document generation, tracking updates).
✅ Order closure (checking final statuses, archiving, integration with CRM/ERP).
✅ Verification of correct status display in customer and manager accounts.
✅ Identification of possible bugs, UX issues, and order processing logic problems.
🔹 Candidate requirements:
✔ Experience in testing B2B or e-commerce platforms (at least 2 years).
✔ Knowledge of order processing principles in wholesale automotive parts trading (will be an advantage).
✔ Experience in writing test cases and checklists.
✔ Attention to detail, analytical thinking.
