I have reviewed the technical specifications and the document. The problem is clear: the module was written with an architectural mistake (storing messages in cache instead of the database), plus incorrect handling of incoming webhooks for status changes.
I specialize in fixing complex bugs and refining logic on OpenCart + API integrations.
My vision for solutions (key points):
Cache problem (most important): You are absolutely right. Messages should not be stored in temporary cache files. I will create new tables in the database (for example, oc_social_messages) and rewrite the logic for recording webhooks there. This will solve the problem of disappearing correspondence when clearing the OpenCart cache and allow for correct status changes (Delete/Soft Delete).
Status synchronization: In order for the response from the phone (FB/Insta App) to change the status in the admin panel, the webhook handler needs to be refined. The system must "catch" the message_created event from your page, check the dialogue ID, and automatically change the status to "Closed/In Progress."
Avatars and titles: This is a matter of parsing the JSON response from the Facebook Graph API. I will correct the paths to the variables so that the data is pulled consistently.
