Main tasks:
Layout of multi-page catalogs (60-150 pages)
Updating existing catalogs (products, specifications)
Adaptation for different formats (A4 / PDF)
Preparing files for print
Working according to the brand guide and clear specifications
Requirements:
Mandatory experience in catalog / brochure layout
Confident use of Adobe InDesign (with the updated version)
Attention to detail with numbers, articles, and structure
Experience working with large volumes of content
Work format:

Layout of catalogs for 150 pages is not about "creativity," it's about strict systematics. If the designer does not know how to work with Master Pages and Nested Styles in InDesign, the project will turn into chaos at the first price edit.
I am a professional layout designer (Startfire Studio). My profile is specifically multi-page technical and product catalogs.
My approach to InDesign:
1. Automation: I use paragraph/character styles for everything. Changing the font throughout the catalog takes 2 minutes, not 2 days.
2. Accuracy: I know what GREP styles are (to avoid dangling prepositions) and Data Merge (if data needs to be imported from Excel).
3. Prepress: You will receive a "clean" PDF (CMYK, bleed, overprint of black) that the printing house will accept without questions.
