Layout for a children's book
67 USD I am looking for a talented layout designer who can help create a bright and engaging children's book for children aged 6–12 years. This is not just a book — it is a interaction for children and parents, with illustrations and interactive elements that make reading lively and interesting.
What needs to be done:
• Complete layout of text and illustrations in a print-ready format;
• Preparation of the layout for hardcover, (72 pages; 4500 words, 12-14 illustrations)
• Correct placement of the artist's illustrations (will be provided in high quality);
• Creation of a layout considering readability for children;
• Preparation of the final file for printing (PDF or another format recommended by the printing house).
What I expect from the performer:
• Experience in layout of children's books with illustrations or something similar;
• Ability to work with colored images and text;
• Creative approach to the placement of elements so that the book looks lively and interactive;
• Willingness to communicate, make adjustments, and meet deadlines.
Additionally:
• The book is planned for publication in Ukraine and other languages, so it is important to maintain the structure of the layout;
• Possible further collaboration on other children's and book projects;
• Having examples of layouts of children's books will be a great advantage.
