About the project

Video production is needed for a series of review videos of endoprostheses (orthopedics / traumatology).

Video format:

a person demonstrates the prosthesis in their hands;
explains the purpose, features, nuances;

The project is long-term, regular shooting is expected.

Location of shooting is Kyiv.

Task

We are looking for a videographer or a small team who can:

shoot review videos of prostheses;
organize the shooting process (frame, light, sound, pace);
make a clean and neat edit according to the template;

Shooting format (2 options)

Option 1 - Mobile / iPhone

iPhone no lower than 13 Pro / 14 Pro;
shooting in 4K;
lapel microphone (mandatory);
basic but correct lighting;
1 main angle (person + prosthesis in hands).

Option 2 - Studio / Standard

camera (mirrorless / cinema-light);
2 angles:
- face (portrait);
- hands / prosthesis (product shooting);
separate lighting for the person and the object;
clean sound (lapel / recorder).

Shooting conditions

shooting on the client's side (office / showroom);
5 hours shooting day (guideline);
shooting a series of prostheses in one outing;
basic directing is required: control of duplicates, pace, demonstration.

Editing

format: 1 prosthesis = 1 short video (on average 3–6 minutes);
editing is simple and structured:
- trimming pauses,
- cuts,
- titles / lower thirds,
- if necessary - slide inserts;
1–2 rounds of revisions included.

Output

either a series of separate videos;
or one long video + cuts into episodes (to be discussed).

What is important

We are looking for a performer who:

understands the principles of serial production;
can work according to a template;
is meticulous in working with technical / medical content;
is ready for an increase in workload.

Candidate requirements

experience in video shooting (portfolio is mandatory);
preferably - own equipment (camera and/or iPhone, light, sound);
understanding of basic directing and editing;
adherence to deadlines and adequate communication.

Collaboration format

project work;
payment is negotiable (shooting + editing);
possible long-term cooperation.

Based on your task, shooting is needed from two angles: portrait and hands. A camera and an iPhone are available. Shooting in live broadcast recording mode, meaning two angles are edited simultaneously during the shoot via a laptop and recording software. Switching between angles depending on the content. This way, we get a recording in a pre-edited form. Final editing - remotely.
The cost for 5 hours of shooting (two cameras with preliminary editing) plus taxi for equipment - 10,000 UAH.
Final editing - needs to be discussed. You did not provide a reference and the complexity of the editing is not clear. Because 3-4 hours of edited video means 36-48 clips if the average length of a clip is about 5 minutes. Editing such a volume of clips is quite a large piece of work... The total cost for 1 clip with a length of about 5 minutes cannot be 500 UAH... this is the price for beginner content creators. Therefore, the final cost needs to be discussed...
If you have a limited budget, you can do the final editing yourself since the recording will be done with preliminary editing - meaning 50 percent of the work will be done...
