If you want the program to run 24/7, it is better to deploy it on a server using Docker — this will ensure reliability and scalability.
But if the launch is still planned only on a local computer (localhost), there are two approaches:
Launching via console (terminal):
The application is started with the command "python manage.py runserver".
Python 3 and the necessary dependencies (for example, from requirements.txt) are required.
To automatically start on Windows startup, you can use Task Scheduler.
Compiling into an .exe file using PyInstaller or Nuitka:
The resulting .exe can be run on any Windows computer without the need to install Python 3 (if everything is packed correctly).
This approach is convenient for local auto-start and simple distribution.
