It is necessary to create a harmoniously and elegantly designed electronic version of the book, which can later be easily adapted into a print format in docx/pdf with a few simple adjustments.
The work must be carried out according to all the necessary parameters required for an electronic book for sale on Amazon and suitable for other platforms selling electronic books as well.
The main rules are written in the attached file, but this is a guideline that can be improved. The file was created based on the development of the first volume in Cloud, but unfortunately, this AI could not meet some needs. Therefore, it was decided to hand this over to a specialist. For this reason, a very extensive description of the technical specifications was created, but the main essence is: to create epub according to all the standards and parameters of Amazon with additional nuances of formatting and file provision, which are written here, and nuances can still be discussed for clarification, as the AI might have made mistakes, and accurate data is needed for proper file formatting.

It is important that comments to links are not broken but are presented as continuous text. However, it should be clear in the formatting where the main text is and where the comments to the main text are.
It is necessary to provide all the parameters used in the end, sizes, distances, fonts, and others when creating the electronic versions of the books and the print version - what and how was used and set. It is essential to follow the required parameters of Amazon very precisely.
(The 2nd volume contains formulas as images - it is necessary that either the images directly in the text do not get distorted or they should be typed "live")

I have studied the technical specifications. This is a wonderfully crafted document, but as a practitioner who prepares books for Amazon KDP, I can immediately see where the AI went wrong and why the previous attempt failed.
The main problem: the AI suggests doing the final print layout (PDF with mirrored margins and bleeds) in MS Word. With a volume of 500,000 characters, Word will inevitably "break" the layout: footnotes will start to detach from the words, images with formulas (from the second volume) will fly to other pages, and the line spacing will jump.
I specialize in publishing layout (Startfire Studio). My experience working at the global printing giant RR Donnelley guarantees that we will pass Amazon's moderation (both electronic and print) on the first try.
My technical pipeline for your 4 volumes:
1. Print version (Adobe InDesign): I will import your text into InDesign. I will set up strict styles (Paragraph, Character), mirrored margins for the 6x9” format, and "firmly" anchor images-formulas to the text (Anchored Objects) so they never shift.
