WordPress developer (Gutenberg Block Theme)

Project Description: Part of the work on a custom WordPress theme (based on Gutenberg Block Theme - https://github.com/bacoords/block-theme/tree/main) has already been completed. It is necessary to finish the development of the theme according to the design layouts in Adobe XD.

What Needs to Be Done:

1. Static Patterns: Create 7 static patterns based on core Gutenberg blocks with custom styling through CSS classes (i.e., wrap in a special class and style it accordingly).
2. Custom Blocks: Develop 6 fully functional custom blocks with unique HTML markup and specific logic (settings, dynamic content, etc.).
3. Layout of Fragments: Layout individual functional elements (not standalone blocks, but template fragments of the interface) according to the design.

Requirements:

• FSE Experience: Experience in developing themes for Full Site Editing (Block Themes) in WordPress.
• Gutenberg and Layout: Proficient in Gutenberg Editor, HTML5, CSS3 (preferably SASS/SCSS) and mobile-first methodology.
• Knowledge of Theme Structure: Understanding of WordPress theme structure (templates, styles, theme files), principles of creating patterns (Block Patterns) and child themes.
• Custom Blocks: Experience in developing custom blocks for Gutenberg (JSX, wordpress/block-editor API).
• Git: Ability to work with the Git version control system (the project is hosted in a repository; support will be provided by the client for setting up the environment).

Collaboration Format:

• Deadline: The work needs to be completed within up to 2 weeks (a small buffer for revisions is possible).
• Payment: Fixed amount, the final budget will be agreed upon after reviewing the scope of work and layouts.
• Engagement: Preferably collaborate with one specialist, but proposals from small studios or teams will be considered if they ensure quality results on time.
• Support: The client will provide necessary information and assistance (setting up the local environment, access to the repository, consultations). The client will handle part of the PHP work.
