Our client is Tetiana Boiko, a renowned Ukrainian makeup artist, entrepreneur, and public figure. For many years, she has been one of the most famous makeup artists in Ukraine: she has participated in television projects, worked with show business stars, and founded a successful makeup school on Khreshchatyk — the main street of Kyiv. She has a large and active audience on social media, among her followers are many well-known Ukrainian celebrities and public figures. Today, Tetiana has returned to her long-standing passion — icon painting. One of her icons is already located in the St. Volodymyr Cathedral in Kyiv, and we want to create a beautiful cinematic video that tells the story of this new stage in her creative journey. Project We want to create a cinematic promotional video lasting 60–90 seconds, which will include: * artistic shots of the icon and the interior of the cathedral; * Tetiana presenting her work; * an emotional story about her journey from a successful career in the beauty industry to returning to icon painting; * professional editing and color correction; * versions of the video for social media (vertical and horizontal). Terms of Collaboration Currently, we are offering collaboration in the form of barter. In exchange, the videographer will receive: * promotion on Tetiana's social media pages; * attribution in all publications; * the opportunity to use the finished video in their own portfolio; * the prospect of long-term creative collaboration. It is necessary to edit an artistic documentary short film shot using the observational method on a cultural research topic. There are approximately 300 shots, but they are short in duration. The main task is to create an artistic montage in a defined style, which largely relies on pauses, fades, and rhythm. I will send a reference of the desired style in personal messages during the discussion. Additionally, it is required to: edit the video to a voice-over monologue; work with the already selected musical accompaniment (there will be almost no work with ambient sound); create subtitles for the monologue; perform color correction. I am looking for a person who has experience or a genuine interest in editing experimental and author cinema and understands how to work with visual atmosphere, where the video sequence is not a direct illustration of the voice-over text, but rather enters into a symbolic dialogue with it.
