I worked with Maxim for the first time. A document with all the texts for the presentation was provided, along with access to the company's photos. Maxim also answered all my clarifying questions. We quickly approved the style and concept without any revisions. After that, I continued working on other slides, sending them for review as they were ready and waiting for feedback. Maxim promised to review everything and respond, but I never received a reply. Then Maxim wrote that he was busy and needed to finish the project, so communication decreased. I waited several days for responses on the slides and didn't want to bother Maxim unnecessarily, as I tried to be understanding about it. Once all the slides were ready, I combined everything into a single PDF presentation and sent it for review. Unfortunately, for some reason, Maxim did not notice this message and thought for three days that I hadn't sent the file for review. During all those days, I was waiting for feedback on the final presentation, only to find out that it hadn't been seen at all. I resent the presentation - there were no comments on the concept, style, or design, but Maxim started to get a bit aggressive about some photos I included in the presentation, sending messages with profanity, essentially saying that "this photo has already annoyed him." However, he did not specify which photos he categorically did not want to include in the presentation at all. If Maxim had warned me right away that there were photos in the archive that he absolutely did not want to see in the presentation, I would have certainly taken that into account. Instead, I was provided with an archive of all the photos, and in my understanding, if those photos were there, they could be used in the presentation, especially since the objects are indeed beautiful and I wanted to showcase them more, in my opinion. Therefore, I did not appreciate the profanity at all; in such a situation, you feel uncomfortable and as if you are being disrespected. I believe that adults should communicate respectfully and civilly during collaboration! So I asked Maxim to communicate with respect and civility towards each other. This is unacceptable and a direct disrespect. Moreover, every project allows for revisions, and they exist to make adjustments. So there was nothing terrible or critical; I quickly replaced those few photos with others, and the problem was resolved. I think it is necessary to react more calmly to such moments, especially when there were no initial requirements or criteria regarding the photos; there was no need to argue. Overall, we completed the project well, but this moment with the profanity was a bit off-putting, and the deadlines stretched more than 10 days. I understand that situations can vary and timelines can extend, so in this regard, I view this moment with a bit more leniency.
