Editing the text of the English language study guide
The project became a productive interaction of two educators, who on one wave of understanding the education system as a whole and the effective methodology of teaching English in particular. Common views on quality and a convenient format of teaching of the teaching material have become an important basis for a full understanding.
For me, as a philosopher, an English language teacher and a scientist, the editorial work with the first educational guide, published under the authority of the client, was pleasant and inspiring.
The task was to read and edit all the material of the book: English and Ukrainian parts. The editorial work covered the following types of errors:
- grammatical and lexical (errors in words, points, in the construction of sentences, etc.)
- Stylistic (inappropriate words, expressions, incorrect/neto translation)
- in the text layout (absolute or excessive holes, text closed with a picture, incorrectly - placed on a page or poorly visible on a color background)
