Mobile application design
Project: SportBuddy — a mobile application for finding sports partners, organizing training sessions, and supporting motivation.
My role: UI/UX designer
Conducted an analysis of the target audience (amateur athletes, coaches, active fitness club users).
Developed a UX flow for key scenarios: registration, partner search, creating and booking training sessions, chat.
Created wireframes and high-fidelity UI mockups in Figma.
Worked on responsiveness for iOS and Android, considering mobile-first principles.
Utilized a design system with components, which accelerated the development team's work.
Thought through a gamification system (badges, levels, rewards) to increase user engagement.
Applied AI tools for generating icons and selecting color schemes.
Teamwork:
Collaborated with the project manager and developers to align on technical capabilities.
Discussed the results of prototype testing with the UX researcher in a focus group.
Made adjustments based on test results to improve navigation usability and action execution speed.
Tools:
Figma, FigJam, Photoshop, ChatGPT, Midjourney (for references), Canva.
Result:
Achieved a functional, aesthetic, and understandable design that was successfully presented to the client and is ready for implementation in development.
