Prototype of a virtual 3D pet for a mobile AR game
Developed an AR prototype of a cute and funny animated 3D cat — a virtual companion for a mobile game. The project is executed in Unity 3D with Universal Render Pipeline and prepared for augmented reality integration.
Key implementation elements:
Importing, rigging, and optimizing the 3D model of the cat for mobile devices and AR.
Creating a set of animations (walking, sitting, lying down/sleeping, turning) with smooth transitions through the Animator Controller.
Dynamic hairstyle (hair): developed on URP shaders — hair realistically reacts to movements, flows, and sways.
Interactive UI for character control:
Slider for switching animations.
Control buttons (turn, change state).
Health and progress indicators (Opened Points).
Neon sci-fi/cyberpunk style interface.
Setting up AR functionality (surface recognition, placement in the real world), lighting, and post-processing.
