It is necessary to create an addon for Blender. It should perform a similar task as in 3ds Max.
That is: Vertices should slide along the edge and snap to the point as implemented in 3ds Max.

просто нема досвіду з максом. Ну, і розумію, що тут якась проекція в результаті виходить від вершини, до якої "прилипає" на ребро, але по якому принципу? тобто, в площині, перпердикулярній вибраній осі? Бо це не дуже очевидно, як воно проектується, можуть бути варіанти так би мовити

Вертекс (точка) має сколизити по еджу (ребру). З увімкненою привязкою, вертекс скользячи по еджу привязується до нижньої точки. Потрібно вдосконалити стандартний набір блендара так, щоб можна було це зробити і в блендері. Бо зараз, таке враження що у блендер намагається перпиндикулярно вирівняти точку відносно самого себе.

Добрий день в Блендер є шорткат Shift+V. Раджу використовувати її і ніякі аддони не потрібні
