Good day, we need an analysis of geographic data to determine the optimal location for opening a second gastro establishment.
Objective:
Analyze order data from the restaurant over the past 12 months to identify areas with the highest demand, in order to select the best location for opening a second establishment.
Geocoding
Convert addresses into geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) using Google Maps, Geocoder, or Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) service.
Analysis of geographic concentration
Use clustering algorithms (e.g., DBSCAN) to identify zones with high order density.
Create a heatmap to display order density across the city.
Area-based analysis
Divide the city into districts or zones.
Count the number of orders in each district. (For a year, half a year, last 3 months)
Identify districts with the highest demand.
Requirements for execution:
Use tools: QGIS or ArcGIS for visualization, Python (pandas, geopandas, scikit-learn) for automation of analysis, Excel or Google Sheets for preliminary processing.
Provide results in the form of maps, tables, and a brief report with conclusions.
