Android system application for service management - database
I need an application for Android devices to manage electric vehicle servicing. The operation works as follows: the user accepting the order enters information into the database such as customer details, fault description, and additional information. Each vehicle will have a QR code, which the user scans with the camera, and the application immediately adds it to the database, linking it with the vehicle's history entry. Continuity of repair history must be maintained, meaning if the customer provides a phone number that has already been entered in the history, the application creates a new order by updating the already archived history with a new entry. Of course, this must be managed logistically so that under one phone number there are many orders and many different vehicles (QR codes). After entering a new report, another user of the application (the technician) receives a push notification about the new report. After completing the repair, the technician enters textual information about the repair and photos (taken directly from the application or selected from the gallery). Of course, each entry, i.e., acceptance, repair, release of goods, and customer notification information (which I will mention shortly), must include data about the time and date of the activity. After the technician makes an entry, there are various status options. It may happen that the technician performs the repair immediately, ending the order. In this case, the customer is notified via SMS about the completion of work and the need to pick up the equipment (the message text is set from the application). Also, through a push notification, the user accepting the order receives information about the completion of work. Repair statuses can always be checked in the application in the table of current (not yet archived) orders. It may also happen that the technician cannot perform the repair immediately because the customer must approve whether they agree to the given estimate. Then, the user accepting the order receives information from the technician about what needs to be repaired (i.e., reads it from the service history in the application, but must always receive a push notification about the status change) and makes a phone call to the customer with the estimate. If the customer does not agree, then the application records a resignation in the history, along with a status of resignation and a push notification for the technician. Similarly, if the customer agrees, the technician receives a push notification and a status of APPROVED or something similar.
