The main task is to clean and select the filmed material, preparing a clean base for further editing.
Responsibilities:
- Work in DaVinci Resolve: creating and setting up timelines, synchronizing cameras and audio;
- Building the structure on the timeline from the filmed material according to the script;
Pre-processing audio: leveling audio levels, working with lavalier microphones.
- Organizing the structure of projects (folders, cameras, materials);
- Delivering a clean, logically assembled timeline to the director.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and ability to quickly find successful shots and usable takes;
- Ability to filter out technical pauses, unsuccessful takes, "garbage" moments;
- Organization in working with a large number of files (b-rolls, interviews, multiple cameras, multi-channel audio);
- Ability to perform preliminary synchronization of video and audio;
- Basic understanding of editing structure (to assemble a clean timeline for further work by the editor).
