Technical assignment (TA) for developing a blueprint on Make

Task

Develop a blueprint for Make that automatically publishes short vertical videos on the following platforms:

    •    YouTube (Shorts)

    •    VKontakte (VK clips publication in the community)

    •    TikTok

    •    Instagram (Reels)

    •    Optional: RuTube, Zen (if supported by Make).

Content source

    •    Videos for publication are taken from cloud storage: Google Drive, Yandex Disk, or other storage (at the developer's discretion considering Make's functionality). Or another source, we will consider your options. 

    •    The blueprint must be able to process videos from the specified folder or directory, upload them to the selected platforms, and automatically prepare them for publication.

Metadata generation

    •    Descriptions, tags, and hashtags must be generated using ChatGPT prompts based on the video file name.

    •    The developer must provide the ability to flexibly configure prompts for each video to adapt metadata for different platforms.

    •    A unique approach to metadata is required for each platform:

    •    YouTube: Title, description, tags.

    •    VKontakte: Title, description, hashtags.

    •    TikTok and Instagram: Short title, hashtags.

    •    RuTube and Zen (optional): Title, description, tags, if required.

Main functionality of the blueprint:

    1.    Automatic video upload:

    •    The blueprint must monitor the folder in cloud storage for new videos.

    •    As soon as a new video appears, it is automatically loaded into the blueprint for processing.

    2.    Content generation with ChatGPT:

    •    ChatGPT is called for each video based on the specified prompts.

    •    The prompts must be adaptable for different platforms and also consider the nature of the video, its theme, and keywords.

    3.    Publication on platforms:

    •    After generating metadata, the video is published on the specified platforms with the corresponding titles, tags, hashtags, and descriptions.

    •    In case of an error (for example, if the API of any platform is temporarily unavailable), the blueprint must send a notification with error information and attempt to retry after a certain period.

    4.    Logging and notifications:

    •    Maintain logs of publications with the ability to view successful and failed uploads, as well as the reasons for errors.

    •    Set up notifications for successful and failed publications via Telegram. Other options will also be considered. 

Preferences:

    •    User-friendly interface in Make, allowing easy changes to settings and configurations (for example, changing the cloud storage folder, ChatGPT settings, prompt text, and list of social platforms).
