Project Description:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to finalize the infrastructure and set up the CI/CD pipeline for the P2P platform — CharterBnB.com. The work is done in conjunction with the Tech Lead, who conducts the final Code Review.
Area of Responsibility:
- Technical Stability: execution of a range of tasks according to the specifications.
- Access Control: implementation of Zero Trust security protocols and SSH authorization.
- Deployment Guarantee: ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the CI/CD pipeline and database synchronization via WPMerge.io.
Technical Stack:
Ubuntu 22.04, CloudPanel, Nginx, Redis, PHP 8.3, GitHub Actions, WPMerge.io, Cloudflare, Sentry, UpdraftPlus.
Current Hardware (Production):
- CPU: 6 Cores (AMD Ryzen 9950X).
- RAM: 8 GB.
- Storage: 480 GB NVMe.
- Network: 10 Gbps port.
Your Key Engineering Challenges:
- CI/CD & Repository: Setting up GitHub Actions for automatic deployment to Staging and Live with protection for the main branch.
- Synchronization (WPMerge.io): Deploying a fault-tolerant architecture for the parallel work of multiple teams without the risk of overwriting database data.
- Performance Tuning: Optimizing the Nginx + Redis + PHP 8.3 stack on CloudPanel (Ubuntu 22.04). The goal is TTFB < 300ms.
- Automated Testing: Deploying an environment for Smoke tests (Ghost Inspector, Mailtrap) before each release.
- Security & Hardening: Configuring WAF (Wordfence), SSH access via keys, and Zero Trust protocols.
Team Interaction:
- Reporting to Tech Lead: Code Review of all your configurations and deployment scripts.
- Ensuring Frontend: preparing the Staging 1/2 environment and Git access (without direct access to the Live server).
- Data Synchronization: maintaining the stability of WPMerge.io for the content and SEO teams.
- Transfer and Cleanup: direct transfer of keys to the Owner and complete removal of temporary sessions/accounts upon completion.
Conditions:
- Payment: Fixed for the entire scope "turnkey".
- Format: Strictly through the Freelancehunt Safe.

- GitHub First: No edits via FTP. Only Atomic Commits, PR, and Branch Protection.
- Step 0: Any work in the sandbox starts with "Pull from Live" via WPMerge.io.
