DevOps sandbox for frontend project
56 USD Hello. I need help setting up a devops sandbox for a frontend project.
What I currently have:
1. Server on Hetzner (CX32 | x86 | 80 GB | eu-central).
2. Repositories - for infrastructure and frontend project (later there will also be Strapi CMS).
3. CloudFlare CDN, which currently just manages DNS (but I will test CDN-specific features later).
Details about the infrastructure:
1) Kubernetes with applications that I need in the sandbox.
2) ArgoCD.
3) Cert manager (Letsencrypt) for SSL certificates.
4) Ingress-nginx.
5) Nuxt-sandbox - deployment management for the frontend app.
6) OpenSearch.
7) Grafana.
8) Fluent-bit.
Problem with fluent-bit. It collects logs. No errors. But it does not send logs to OpenSearch (or OpenSearch does not accept them). I haven't tried linking it to Grafana yet.
I have limited knowledge of infrastructure. I need help finishing fluent-bit so that logs are sent. Plus, to review what is available and possibly improve configurations. Help create instructions on how to redeploy it if needed (I already have a draft, but maybe some important points to remember).
What I want as a result:
1. Frontend environments - pre-staging, staging, production.
2. Default logs from Docker containers (stdout, stderr) from all services in OpenSearch.
3. Custom logs from the frontend app, but that will be later.
4. Monitoring the app in OpenSearch and Grafana (I will add Sentry later, but now I want to stabilize the devops part).
This is all a sandbox, so it’s not critical if something fails along the way.
The main thing is that I can then redeploy it myself.
