Deadlines

I try to describe the situation as objectively as possible.I contacted Michael in the beginning of April 2013 and reached the agreement to get the site by the middle of April.Due to the difficulty of the work, it was then decided to delay the deadline to 1 May.From my side:
1) there were repeated delays with the material that was needed by Misha as an executive.2) there have been repeated changes in the task -- t.and e.Something was added, something was cleaned. This, of course, caused a rise in the price and some dissatisfaction from Mikhail, as in his understanding every additional action on the site required an additional payment. It’s hard to say who is right here, I think my mistake is that at first there was not a 100% agreed task, it was processed in the process of “building” the site.3) there was a delay with the payment, as my boss didn’t give me the money until the site was delivered completely. From Michael:
1) In the beginning there was a hundred percent understanding and cooperation, even though it was at the very beginning, when the dates were burning and I called him — he asked to call over the clock as he played the online game.I am addressing this now with a smile, because in the end the deadlines were so delayed that the April delay is no longer substantial.2) In the end, the site was delivered by 90% in August.Since then, he has been working somehow. But it happened in a pretty unpleasant way — Michael sent me a SMS in the morning that his employees blocked and unlocked the site only then. When I calculate.Since I couldn’t get money from the boss up to 100% of the site ready, I had to count on my personal money.I accounted for 90% of the total order amount. After that the site was opened. In the following 6 months I couldn’t close with Michael all the questions on the site — physically I couldn’t formulate the final 10% transactions on the site.So I’ve been borrowing him 10 percent of the amount.I didn’t refuse to return it, it just didn’t depend on me.Then from the hosting came a letter that a malicious code was found on the site. When I addressed this to Michael, he said he didn’t want to do it because:
I could not return him 10% of the order amount in six months.
2) it is not responsible for what happens to the site after its work is completed (although no one has done anything to the site during that time).According to him, "no freelancer should monitor the drainage of the water pipeline or the flow of the roof over the long term."
3) this is very simple - for an hour of business, hire a freelancer for the remaining money, let him do it to you.In summary, I can say that as a man, he is probably not bad.But from the point of view of cooperation - as a customer you are interested in him only until you gave the majority of the money for the order.Well, the most important thing - to work with it - you need to have a perfectly prescribed technical task, otherwise every additional click of the mouse will be paid above the total amount.
