It is necessary to develop a WordPress website for a network of barbershops with 22 locations. Currently, we have a simple website that only serves as a page for online booking. We need a full-fledged website through which we will communicate with the audience — telling about promotions, training, job vacancies, and news of the network.What should be on the website: Homepage with services and a list of locations Promotions section with the ability to independently add and edit offers Blog with a convenient editor for regular publications Job vacancies page with a feedback form Barber school page with course descriptions and enrollment for training Preservation of the current online booking (integration with our booking system)Important — migration with SEO preservation: This is not a new website on a new domain, but a replacement of the existing one. It requires migration without losing current positions in Google: preservation of URL structure, correct Sitemap, and setting up mass 301 redirects. At the stage of layout, we are ready to work in conjunction with our SEO curators — implementing their technical edits and undergoing an audit before the release.Technical requirements: Mobile-first. Over 80% of traffic comes from smartphone bookings, so the mobile version is a priority. Google PageSpeed Insights scores for mobile should be in the green zone (85–90+), without layout shifts (CLS) during loading Clean code without plugin overload. The current website lags due to conflicts from dozens of extensions. Custom layout / clean Gutenberg build or optimized Elementor Pro without junk in the code. We do not consider ready "heavy" themes from ThemeForest + 30 plugins Development on Staging (closed to indexing), code — in a Git repository with access and rights transferred to us Responsiveness for different screensDesign: we have a corporate style, and the website must match it (layouts — to be clarified in correspondence).For whom the website is intended: The main audience is men looking for a barbershop nearby and wanting to book quickly. There are also two separate segments: those interested in barber training and candidates for job vacancies.Criteria for evaluating the result: Fast loading on mobile (confirmed by PageSpeed) We independently manage content without a developer (promotions, blog, vacancies) Online booking works stably Google positions have not dropped after migration Correct responsive layoutWe are also interested in post-release support: updating the WordPress core, plugins, PHP version, security monitoring, and quick response to critical bugs (for example, if the booking form goes down). In your response, please indicate whether you provide monthly maintenance and under what conditions.In your response, please provide examples of similar work on WordPress (preferably with cases of migration without loss of positions) and estimated timelines.
There is an existing website on Joomla. However, there is a lot of custom code, which makes it difficult to make changes to the Ukrainian and Russian versions of the site. We plan to switch to a modern YOOtheme Pro template, initially considering Nioh Studio. We also plan to do a rebranding, but the domain will remain the old one for now. What needs to be done create a new version of the site on a separate test subdomain; install the current version of Joomla and YOOtheme Pro; adapt the template for a motorcycle school; transfer texts, photos, pages, prices, reviews, instructors, and the motorcycle fleet; create a quality mobile version; preserve existing URLs, SEO metadata, and site positions; set up 301 redirects if some URLs change; maintain the Ukrainian and Russian versions; connect registration forms, Telegram, and analytics; integrate LiqPay; (there is a ready example from competitors) optimize site speed; after launch, provide a backup and all access credentials. It is important that the site can be easily edited independently: changing prices, courses, instructors, motorcycles, and articles. A specialist is needed with experience in: Joomla 5/6; YOOtheme Pro; migrating existing sites; SEO migrations; LiqPay. In your response, please indicate: examples of work with Joomla cost; completion time; what is included in the cost;
Welcome! We are looking for an experienced performer (or a small team) for cosmetic UI/UX redesign and bug fixing on the working corporate website of a logistics company. No global overhaul — just a neat "touch-up" of the interface and methodically addressing the list of issues. Website: https://shippingfreightcom.com CMS: WordPress (current version) About the ProjectThe website of an international logistics company (sea, air, and road transport, customs clearance). The site is operational and filled with content — we need not a new site, but a neat cosmetic update of the interface and fixing existing bugs. The structure of the pages, content, and CMS will remain unchanged.Scope of Work1. Cosmetic UI/UX Redesign (without new layouts) Updating typography: a unified system of header and text sizes, line spacing, readability. Organizing margins and grid: uniform section paddings, alignment of blocks on all pages. Improving text and button contrast (benchmark — WCAG AA). Standardizing buttons, forms, hover states to a single style (CTAs: "Get Started", "Book a Call", "Get a Quote", etc.). Tidying up the homepage A neater appearance for the cookie banner (so it does not cover content). Checking and refining the mobile version (responsiveness of menus, forms, tables, footer). Edits are agreed upon with screenshots/demos before publication.2. Audit and Bug Fixing The performer conducts their own audit of the site (desktop + mobile, major browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and compiles a list of identified issues. The client has a ready list of known issues — a detailed list will be provided to the selected performer after work begins. General areas of work (without detailing): fixing factual and content inconsistencies on pages; fixing broken links, removing duplicate pages, setting up redirects; resolving image loading issues (lazy load); refining forms: clear field validation, simplifying filling out, convenient dropdowns; eliminating content duplication and excessive page overload; correcting language inconsistencies on the site and refining the localization of the NL version; improving accessibility (alt tags, contrast) and basic SEO technical fixes; minor layout defects on various pages and in the mobile version.3. Technical Requirements Work is performed on WordPress: edits in the child theme / custom styles, without "hardcoding" into plugin files and the parent theme. Do not break SEO: URL, meta tags, H1–H2 headers, content — unchanged (except for agreed edits).Access and Support from Our Side Access to the WordPress admin panel (and if needed, FTP/hosting) will be provided to the selected performer. Our team includes an IT administrator who will collaborate with the performer on various issues as needed: access, hosting, DNS, backups, staging, technical consultations regarding infrastructure. We look forward to collaborating with a responsible specialist or team.
